CALAS welcomes all individuals/educators who are interested in supporting its mission. The full membership meets three times a year. Members of the organization’s Executive Board are Ms. Daisy Torres, President, Dr. Maribel Olivero, President-Elect, Mr. Miguel Pabon, Vice-President, and Ms. Adela Jorge, Secretary, Dr. Evelyn Robles-Rivas, Past-President, Madeline Negron, Past-President, and Ms. Lillian Fontan, Executive Director. For more information, please contact the CALAS Executive Board at calasedu@gmail.com. 2022-2023 Annual Membership Fees Cabinet level: Superintendents, Deputies, and Chiefs $100 Senior Leadership: Directors, Assistant Directors, Supervisors, Principals, Assistant Principals, $50 Teachers/Aspiring Teachers, College Personnel, Others $35 General Memberships and Partnerships General Memberships shall be open to any Superintendents, Deputy and Assistant Superintendents, and/or school district administrators, including but not limited to program directors, coordinators, Chief Business Officers and Directors of Finance, school site administrators, retirees from these positions, and higher education educators. General membership shall also be open to aspiring school administrators who have completed a graduate administrative credentialed program or are currently enrolled in such program. Associate Memberships Associate Memberships shall be open to any individual employed as a teacher in a CT public school or college students aspiring to be educators. Affiliate Memberships Affiliate Memberships shall be open to State and National Educational Associations and to Business Partners who support the goals of the organization. Corporate Partnerships The Connecticut Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents values corporate partnerships because such partnerships enable Association membership to keep informed about the current educational marketplace and enhance the quality of the Association’s programs and mission. Affiliate/Business Partner Membership is available to Corporate Partners. The Board reserves the right to select Corporate Partners that are most likely to assist CALAS achieve its goals and to terminate any such partnerships at any time. Corporate Partners shall be defined as any corporation or business entity that supports the goals of the organization. Corporate Partners shall be entitled to those privileges specified in their agreement with CALAS. |
